Općina Tomislavgrad, koja se prostire na gotovo 1000 km2, danas pokazuje svoja dva potpuno različita meteorološka lica. Zbog specifičnog položaja i prostranosti, uvjeti na cestama i u naseljima značajno se razlikuju od mjesta do mjesta.
Bijeli pokrivač u Šujici i gradu
U sjevernom dijelu općine, točnije na području Šujice te u samom gradu Tomislavgradu, prevladava pravi zimski ugođaj. Snijeg koji intenzivno pada već je formirao pokrivač od desetak centimetara, što zahtijeva dodatni oprez u prometu i čišćenje prilaza.
Na jugu i istoku kišno, prijeti poledica
Istovremeno, u južnim i istočnim dijelovima općine snijega za sada nema. Tamo prevladava kiša koja i dalje neprestano pada. Međutim, s dolaskom večeri i padom temperatura, situacija postaje kritična.
Upozorenje vozačima: Postoji velika vjerojatnost da će kiša u nižim i južnijim predjelima prijeći u ledenu kišu. Zbog niskih temperatura očekuje se i stvaranje poledice na kolnicima, stoga se apelira na sve vozače da vožnju prilagode uvjetima na cesti i ne kreću na put bez zimske opreme.
