WFD, are now looking to recruit an experienced Programme Coordinator to support the development of its programmes based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Programme Coordinator – Bosnia and Herzegovina
WFD’s Programme Coordinator plays an active role in developing WFD’s programme and operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Under the leadership of WFD’s Country Director in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Programme Manager, the Programme Coordinator will provide support at all stages of the programme cycle from inception through to final evaluation, including providing administrative and logistical support; preparing and disseminating project documentation; assisting in the preparation of the narrative and financial reports; collecting, monitor, and evaluate data and communicating project successes and achievements.
The core skills and experience we are looking for are;
- Significant experience working in a similar position and in providing programme administration, evaluation, and monitoring services.
- Highly developed written and spoken English and BHS, ability to draft reports, proposals, and communications.
- A good level of understanding of the political context, parliamentary system, and challenges to democracy-building in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in any of the areas of: democracy and good governance programmes, inclusion of women and youth in political processes and transparency and accountability of political parties.
- Exceptional planning and organisation skills and experience working to a high degree of accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and effectively plan and organise own workloads
- Competent in reviewing data, researching, and producing analytical reports.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite of Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Dynamics)
- Experience with budgeting and finance management for programmes
- Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, such as Political Sciences, Law, Social Sciences, Economy, Public Administration or Communication Sciences or other relevant.
This is a field-based role in Bosnia and Herzegovina; applicants must be eligible to work in the country.
